The herbaceous rose species Agrimonia eupatoria has a short spike of yellow, sweetly scented blooms that develop into burr-like seed pods in the fall. The dried aerial parts of agrimony are used in extracts, herbal tea blends, topical treatments, and infusions. Historically, agrimony was used to color wool.

For ages, the plant agrimony was valued for its therapeutic powers in folk herbalism in Europe. In England, you can find agrimony, a plant from the rose family, close to hedges and fences. The plant has a distinct, pleasing aroma that is sometimes compared to the perfume of apricots, but it is less sweet.
