Angelica Root: Angelica Archangelica

This member of the Apiaceae family thrives in moist soil, next to moving water, and on the fringes of woodlands. Angelica roots have a strong scent and are thought to contain warming, spicy, and bitter energies. It pairs nicely with Coltsfoot and White Horehound for bronchial issues. Use chamomile along with indigestion, flatulence, and appetite loss.

Precautions
Because it stimulates the uterus and because of its sugar content, it should not be used during pregnancy or if you have diabetes. This plant may not be used in "hot" conditions since it is "heating."
